wanneer kan ik mijn kerstboom terugbrengen

Bij BeterBoompje kun je je kerstboom na de feestdagen weer terugbrengen, zodat we deze kunnen herplanten in ons kerstbomenbos. De exacte terugbrengmomenten verschillen per locatie, maar in de meeste gevallen kun je je boom in de eerste week van januari.

You can simply return your root ball Christmas tree to one of our collection points. We will then ensure that the tree is planted back into our Christmas tree forest, so that it is not lost. You can hand in the tree at the location in your region in early January. Bring your receipt as proof of purchase.

We understand that your schedule has changed and that you would like to pick up the tree at another time. Fortunately, this is possible. This is only possible 7 days before the pick up. Report this to our support and you will receive a new confirmation with the new information shortly.

how can I track the status of my order

With our track & trace function, you can easily track the status of your order. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a track & trace number. This allows you to check the exact location and delivery status of your BeterBoompje on our website or via the courier. This way, you know exactly when to expect your tree.

where can I drop off my tree

You can drop off your tree at various locations. On our website, you will find an overview of all return points. You can drop off your tree at any location, even if it wasn't the original pickup location. However, it is useful to pre-register your tree via our return form, so that we know that your tree has been returned.

where can I pick up my better tree

Our BeterBoompjes are available this year via pickups and our home delivery service. You can have your tree delivered to the address of your choice. If you want to replant the tree in your garden after Christmas, this is a nice sustainable option. For more information about delivery, please contact us.

You can reserve a BeterBoompje via the website of our website. There, you can easily select a tree and specify where you want to pick it up. Together, we will ensure that your tree is ready at the agreed location and time.

Yes, that is possible. We have different pick-up times. However, these pickup dates depend on which pickup location you would like to pick it up at. Just contact us and we'll see what the options are together.

can I return the tree later?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to return the tree later, because the trees will already go back to the Christmas tree forest. You could hand in the tree a little earlier at some locations, check this out: https://www.beterboompje.nl/info/locaties.

can I order another Christmas tree

Check out the where to buy page. Here you can see if the trees are still available. Our trees can be ordered until the beginning of December. After that, the orders close and the reserved trees are transported to the various locations. It is then no longer possible to add another tree. Next year, you can reserve a BeterBoompje on time again. We have limited stock, so be quick to make sure you have your tree. Sorry for the inconvenience, we hope to see you again next year!

wanneer kan ik mijn kerstboom terugbrengen

Onze kerstbomen worden in de eerste week van januari opgehaald. We krijgen vaak de vraag of het eerder mag, maar helaas kunnen we daar niet aan voldoen op alle locaties. We hebben gekozen voor het eerste weekend van het jaar omdat dit het beste past bij onze operatie.

can I change my pickup time

Of course, that's no problem. Just send us a message with your order number and the desired new pickup time and we will adjust that for you. We have different pick-up times at different locations, so there is bound to be a time that suits you better. Let us know and we'll arrange it for you. where can I drop off my Christmas tree

You can hand in your Christmas tree with a root ball at one of our official drop-off locations. On our website, you will find an up-to-date overview of all places and dates: beterboompje.nl/info/terug-breng-locaties. It doesn't matter where you picked up the tree, you can return it to any location. Please hang your ticket or name on the tree so that we know it's yours and your deposit can be refunded properly.

how can I get my deposit back

You will receive an email in January where you can indicate that you have returned your tree. This is checked on location. After that, we will process your request and the deposit of 10 euro will be automatically refunded to the account that was used to pay within 14 days. This is done via Shopify and usually runs smoothly. Please note that the amount of 10 euro is sometimes overlooked or refunded to another account (such as your partner's).

when can I return my tree

That's no problem, you can return your tree at any of our official drop-off times. These will take place in early January at various locations in the Netherlands. This is how we ensure that your tree is planted back into our Christmas tree forest, instead of being thrown away. Simply take your tree to one of the drop-off points and we'll take care of the rest.

can I cancel my order

Yes, cancellation is possible, but please note that we work with a fresh product. That is why different conditions apply than normal orders. We ask you to cancel no later than 7 days before the pick-up. Of course, something unexpected can always happen, and we usually don't make a big deal about that and we look for a solution together. To do so, please contact our customer service and we will arrange it for you.

when will my ordered Christmas tree be delivered

Thank you for ordering from BeterBoompje! You chose a delivery date when ordering via the date picker. This date is leading and in 90% of cases it is also reached. We book transport 3 days in advance with our carrier and then your tree is usually delivered within 1 or 2 business days. We are closely monitoring delivery. If there are unexpected delays, we will let you know immediately. You can also track the status of your order via the track & trace link that we sent you.

when will my order be delivered

When ordering, you chose a delivery date via our date picker. This date is leading and in 90% of cases it is also reached. We book transport 3 days in advance with our carrier and then your tree is usually delivered within 1 or 2 business days. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code to track delivery. Around the holidays, delivery can sometimes vary by 1 to 2 days due to crowds. If you still want to change your chosen delivery date, please contact support. We do our best to deliver your tree on the agreed day and keep you informed if changes occur.

Thuisbezorging BeterBoompje MET kluit, hoe werkt dat?

Je bestelt jouw boom via 'Bezorgen'. Kies voor 'Thuisbezorgen met kluit'. Er zijn 2 opties: de boom zelf herplanten in de tuin voor volgend jaar of hem terugbrengen zodat wij 'm kunnen herplanten in ons BeterBoompje Kerstbomenbos. Wil je dat wij de boom terugplanten? Kies dan voor de optie MET terugplantticket en breng de boom op begin januari terug bij onze drop-off locaties. Zie alle info hierover hier.

Do the trees have an organic label?

Our trees have no official BIO characteristic, but are grown in an environmentally friendly way. In other words, no fertilizers, no pesticides and the plastic pot is reused. The new adoption plants that we plant are Skal certified.

Is there a pot around the root ball?

The Picea Omorika spruce has a plastic or coconut pot around the root ball, 30 cm high and 25-29 cm in diameter. The size of the tree includes this pot. This pot is reused after replanting.

What about the quality guarantee?

The trees without a root ball are AA quality Nordmannen. Trees with roots have been specially grown in pots to survive replanting. We do our best to deliver the most beautiful trees, but a BeterBoompje remains a natural product and the rootball trees are unsprayed. That means that each Christmas tree is unique and perfectly capable of shining in your living room at Christmas. Throwing away trees is not an option, right? What is the best way to take care of my tree?

Your BeterBoompje will be the shining center of your room in the coming weeks. To ensure that your tree stays bright and that we can plant it back in January, we would like to give you a few care tips: 1. Is it cold? Let your BeterBoompje get used to the temperature in the shed first. 2. Leave the tree in the pot. If you want, place it all (straight) in another pot (with some extra soil). 3. Give your tree plenty of water every day. Close to the trunk and keep the soil/root ball moist. Tip for this tip: To check that the water reaches the bottom (and not the floor), you can place a saucer under the pot. 4. Don't put your tree right next to or on a heat source, you don't like it. 5. Do not cut out the top or branches; your tree is beautiful as it is. 6. Leave the angel hair and artificial snow in the closet this year...

Why does a BeterBoompje cost what it costs?

A BeterBoompje may cost a bit more than the disposable Christmas trees you're used to. Of course, this has a good reason. After all, our honest trees have a fair price. And because you just pay it nicely, nature doesn't have to do that. So friendly, isn't it? How do our prices come about? - BeterBoompje without a root ball For every BeterBoompje without a root ball, we plant two new spots back in the organic Christmas tree forest. In the coming years, all these Christmas trees will be sustainably maintained in a forest where a healthy ecosystem is a priority. In this way, the seedlings are prepared into full-fledged reusable bio-adoption trees that are replaced every year. - Better Tree with root ball With your contribution, we cover the costs of growing and maintaining the Christmas tree, transporting it back and forth to the Christmas tree forest and manually placing it back in the ground.

Wat voor soort boom is de Nordmann?

OMG. De Nordmann is the most beautiful kerstboom ever! Echt. De Nordmann is met recht de populairste kerstboom van Nederland. Dat komt door de mooie glanzende donkergroene naalden. Deze naalden zitten aan stevige takken, zijn zacht en prikken niet! De Nordmann is een bredere, stoerdere kerstboom met mooie lagen. Boom wordt uitgeleverd in een net en zonder een kruis.

What type of tree is the Picea Omorika?

In recent years, this Serbian spruce has become increasingly popular as a Christmas tree. It is a somewhat slimmer tree, but with nice full branches. The Picea Omorika therefore requires less space than, for example, the Nordmann, which is naturally much wider. With its hanging branches, it is also a very elegant tree. The needles are green at the top and blue at the bottom, making the Christmas tree look bluish. What's also nice is that the needles on this spruce are a bit less sharp and don't fall out as quickly. The tree is delivered without a net around it and with a plastic pot around the root ball.

How are the adopted trees that are planted grown?

These are grown organically and with love. The cuts (and in a while, therefore, adoptive trees) in the BeterBoompje Christmas Tree Forest are grown organically and with love. In our forest, a healthy ecosystem is a priority; we focus on healthy soil and stimulate biodiversity. The new adoption plants that are being planted in Leusden at the Adopt a Christmas Tree nursery will ensure that more adoption trees will be available and we will solve the shortage. In 4 years, these cuts will be big enough to be adopted.

What about that BeterBoompje Christmas Tree Forest?

Just imagine: A nice place where your Christmas tree can have its feet in the dirt all year round. Cosy among the other trees. With sun, wind and rain that alternate and where the birds sing instead of Mariah Carey. During the holidays, your Christmas tree takes a trip to your home, but then it will soon go back to its peers in the Christmas tree forest. Doesn't that sound great? We are building that place in Leusden at the Adopt a Christmas Tree nursery, but we can't do that alone. By choosing a BeterBoompje, you are helping to build our dream. And when the forest is big enough, we can provide everyone with an adopted organic Christmas tree every year.

Why are our BeterBoompjes better?

A BeterBoompje is a sustainable version of the traditional disposable Christmas tree that is put on the street after the holidays. If you choose a BeterBoompje, you will help build the forest. Here we plant the root ball Christmas trees back after they have spent Christmas with you. For each tree without a root ball, we plant back two organic adoptive tree cuts. According to our strategy, this last option is an interim solution to change the market and ensure that the shortage of adoption trees is solved.

Waar moet ik op letten bij vervoer?

Er zit zowel een net om de boom ZONDER als de boom MET kluit. Bij de boom met kluit zit er om de kluit een plastic of kokos pot van 30 cm hoog en 20 cm doorsnee. TIP: Gebruik een dekbedovertrek om de boom in te doen!

Waar en wanneer kan ik mijn boom inleveren?

Afscheid nemen bestaat niet. Oh wacht. Toch wel. Na de feestdagen lever je je boom MET kluit namelijk bij ons in, zodat wij hem terug kunnen planten in het bos. Je brengt je boompje MET kluit begin januari 2025 (zie info en tijden per stad bij 'Terugbrenglocaties') terug naar een pick-up locatie. Om je borg terug te krijgen, zijn er een paar eisen waaraan jouw BeterBoompje moet voldoen. Zo kijken wij of je boompje nog mooie groene takken heeft en of er voldoende aarde aan de kluit zit. Heb jij je boompje voldoende liefde, water en aandacht gegeven? Dan krijg je je tientje borg terug. De borg wordt (na het inleveren) in januari teruggestort op je rekening.

Can I get the same BeterBoompje as last year?

No, unfortunately this is not possible. The BeterBoompjes with a root ball are planted back into nature once and have not been grown as adoptive trees. In addition, there are still far too few adoptive Christmas trees at all. The new seedlings that we plant are, however, grown as adoptive trees. Together, we will ensure that more adoption trees are available in a few years!

Can I choose the tree myself when I pick it up?

Although the name suggests otherwise, no tree is better than the other. All BeterBoompjes are unique! If possible, you can find it out! They are all of good quality so don't worry if we choose one for you. This is because we do this to make picking up the trees as smooth (and corona-proof) as possible. We also want to prevent the BeterBoompjes from being damaged as much as possible, which is why it is not desirable if we walk between the trees with too many people.

Hoe gaat het ophalen in zijn werk?

Wanneer het moment daar is om je boompje op te halen, kom je naar de pick up locatie van jouw keuze. Nadat je je auto of fiets hebt geparkeerd, volg je de bordjes die jou naar je boompje leiden. Houd je telefoon met daarop je ticket paraat, zodat deze door ƩƩn van onze medewerkers gescand kan worden. Is je ticket gescand? Dan wordt jouw boom overhandigd. De boom met kluit wordt geleverd zonder net/verpakking, wel zo duurzaam :)

Waarom is BeterBoompje dit jaar niet in mijn stad beschikbaar (en vorig jaar wel)?

Helaas is het ons dit jaar niet gelukt om in alle steden waar we de afgelopen jaren actief waren weer een pick-up te organiseren. Wel zijn er een aantal nieuwe steden bijgekomen. Niet getreurd want je kunt dit jaar jouw BeterBoompje MET Ʃn ZONDER kluit ook thuis laten bezorgen. Kijk voor meer info in het menu bij 'Bezorgen'.

Hoe werkt het bestellen van een BeterBoompje?

Een BeterBoompje bestellen werkt heel eenvoudig, dit zijn alle keuzes die je dient te maken: 1. Kies welk BeterBoompje je wilt 2. Kies je stad en ophaallocatie of ga voor thuisbezorgen 3. Kies je ophaaldag en tijdslot of een bezorgdatum 4. Vul je gegevens in en bestel je boompje :) Vervolgens krijg je een bevestigingsmail van ons met daarin een unieke QR code. Met deze code kan jij jouw boompje ophalen op de door jou gekozen dag en tijd. Makkelijk toch?

Ik heb mijn borg niet ontvangen. Hoe zit dat?

Het bedrag wordt teruggestort op de rekening waarmee jouw BeterBoompje is betaald. Mocht je de betaling niet terug kunnen vinden onder ƩƩn van deze namen, neem dan contact met ons op. Wij zoeken het graag voor jou uit!
